Unbothered By Saws. Tethered To The Rhythm Of Honest Work.
Every workshop that produces honest work has an unsung supervisor. They don’t punch a clock, read blueprints, or argue with suppliers. Instead, they curl up in cedar shavings directly beneath the hum of the miter saw, lift one eyebrow when an 8-foot oak plank is racked, and inspect every finished joint with a cold nose before it leaves the shop.
The Shop Dog Society was born out of deep respect for these steadfast companions. In the wood shop, art studio, print lab, or salvage yard, the shop dog is the anchor. When projects go sideways, measurements fail by a sixteenth of an inch, or deadlines push well past midnight into the quiet Memphis night, they are right there on the concrete floor, completely unbothered, reminding you of what is real.
This collection pairs traditional tattoo trade flash—bold line weights, heraldic ribbon banners, crossed tools, and classic American ink—with the genuine hierarchy of workshop life: from the watchful night-shift Supervisor and grizzled Foreman who commands the floor, to the vigilant Security sentry at the roll-up door, the sawdust-caked Workbench sleeper, the enthusiastic Apprentice, and the studio painter hound.
A Shop Dog Society bandana or shirt is not a novelty pet graphic. It is a piece of the honest-work mythology of the studio.
